Inspired by rings from the last century, our ceremonial collection is a rebirth of antiquated jewelry.

Each ring has been designed to evoke feelings of nostalgia, and reflect moments of combing through an antique jewelry box. Finished with a soft satin texture each piece looks like it has been unearthed. Rough yet refined.

Classically Inspired

Rings are powerful symbols. Historically, rings have been associated with devotion, loyalty and eternal love, making their role in romantic occasions ubiquitous. Although the meaning behind ceremonial jewelry remains steadfast, the look of these rings has changed over time. The ceremonial collection from Erica Bello takes inspiration from jewelry of the 18th and 19th century, which emphasized aesthetics over intrinsic value. The resulting work is a collection that mixes classic and contemporary motifs into pieces that place equal importance on design and material.

Our Materials

The ceremonial collection was designed in 18k yellow gold to reflect historical jewelry pieces of the last century. Finished with a soft satin texture each ring looks like it has been unearthed. Rough, yet refined.

Ethically sourced man-made diamonds were used to adorn each ring in the ceremonial collection. This modern addition to these vintage inspired designs creates pieces that are accessible and elegant. In addition to man-made gems, natural stones may also be used to customize your ring. Please view our page on custom rings to learn more about the process behind custom designs.

We also love to create custom pieces with heirloom stones and gems provided by our clients! Ensuring that your stones are in good condition guarantees that nothing will not be damaged during removal or resetting. All stones will need to be inspected in-person before being approved for your custom piece.

Because the quality of vintage gold can vary significantly and cause imperfections we cannot incorporate it into a new piece.

A New Tradition

My history in the bridal industry started with one of the biggest jewelry corporations in the world. Prior to receiving a formal education in jewelry design I worked as a bench jeweler in a high volume repair shop. After years watching emotional heirloom pieces get melted down in favor of generic diamond rings, I left to discover what bridal jewelry meant to me. After nearly a decade of reflection I developed a small collection of rings. Leaving the title of bridal jewelry behind I came to develop a ceremonial collection. Jewelry pieces that are free from preconceived notions of gender or rituals, and only carries with it the idea of a celebration.
